Structural Silicone Sealant

Structural Silicone Sealant is a high-performance, neutral-curing silicone sealant specially developed for modern curtain wall systems and industrial structural bonding. It is non-corrosive to glass, metal, stone, and other substrates, offering exceptional structural bonding strength and long-term weather resistance up to 50 years. Maintaining elasticity and strength from -50°C to +150°C, it provides a permanent, safe, and reliable bonding and sealing solution for structural joints in curtain walls, metal roofing systems, and skylights.

FAQ

  • Q

How should I choose between one-component and two-component products?

    A

One-component sealants are suitable for on-site applications, while two-component sealants are recommended for large-scale projects and factory-prefabrication, offering faster and more controlled curing.

  • Q

How long does it take before the sealant can bear structural loads?

    A

Practical strength is typically achieved within 3–7 days, while full cure generally requires approximately 21 days.

  • Q

How can reliable adhesion be ensured?

    A

It is recommended to conduct on-site adhesion tests before project commencement. Technical support and testing guidance can be provided upon request.

  • Q

    Can the color be customized?

    A

Standard colors are black and white. Customized colors are available based on project requirements.

  • Q

How should cured sealant joints be repaired?

    A

Remove the damaged portion and clean the surface thoroughly. Fresh sealant can then be applied directly onto the existing cured sealant.
